2023 IRONMAN NATIONAL PRE

The 2023 Pro Motocross championship has made its way to the Ironman National in Crawfordsville, IN. We have reached the season’s final race, and there’s still much on the line in the 450 and 250 classes. In 450 Class, Jett Lawrence is currently 20-0 on Moto wins, with only two more motos. Jett is on the verge of a perfect season, something only Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart have ever accomplished, and Jett can put his name right there with the greats. As for the 250 Class, Hunter Lawrence has the chance to win the National title, giving Honda a full sweep of wins from every class in Supercross or Motocross. Hunter sits 22 points ahead of Justin Cooper, headed into the final round.

MXA is partnering with Fantasizr to do an 11-round Pro Motocross Fantasy League where the fan with the most points at the end of the season will win a 2024 Beta 300 two-stroke with a bolt on FMF pipe and silencer! Each player will get a budget of $50,000 to pick 6 riders (three 250 and three 450) each round. To add to that, we will be giving out prizes each round to the fan who scores the most points! We have prizes from Nue Tech, O’Neal, Maxxis, Wiseco, MotoMuck, Boxo Tools, Ride Engineering, Acerbis, Viral Goggles, FMF, Guts, Blud, Phoenix Handlebars and Funnel Web Filter. Tom Vialle has consistently been a top-five rider throughout this season. Not an easy achievement as almost all of the tracks in the Motocross series; Tom has never ridden before. With a win under his belt and confidence up front, it will be fun to see how Tom adapts as he gains more experience.

Chase Sexton has one final shot to break Jett Lawrence’s perfect streak. This season has been a learning year for Chase, making mistakes and learning how to minimize them; we saw last weekend at Budds Creek Chase went down in Moto Two and was still able to run down Jett Lawrence and push him into a few mistakes. Chase was unsuccessful at garnishing the win, but it must have been a big boost of confidence to see Jett get shaken.
