In The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Episode 5, Komura visits town to get his mother ketchup and bumps into Mie. He notices Valentine’s Day is coming up and secretly wants Mie to get him chocolates. Mie remembers the holidays coming up and promises to make and give Komura and all her friends chocolates on the holiday.

Unfortunately, Mie forgets to give Komura chocolate on Valentine’s Day. She promises Komura she’ll do one thing for him to make amends. Komura fails to confess to Mie and tells her he wants to tell her something important when the time comes. After trying to protect Mie from devouring chocolate on White Day, Komura hands Mie some sweets. The episode closes with Mie thanking Komura.
